Quarantine!!!

We have unfortunately gotten a stomach virus at our house! I had to work the weekend..so we all get in bed sometime around 1030 friday night. By 1100 the baby starts coughing and sounding like he is choking on something..Im thinking oh great...sure enough I turn over and put my hand in something wet..so I quickly sat him up and it went everywhere! I run him to the bathroom, he's crying, I'm gagging and my husband is still sound asleep..really? Well the poor little guy continued to throw up every 10 minutes until sometime around 3am...and 2 baths later...he throws up and  then passes out asleep...I would watch him and he would start smacking his lips I would quickly sit him up...bless it! Needless to say I had to call in sick for Saturday (the snow day). So Saturday he developed raging diarrhea..miserable! I can't even tell you how many loads of laundry I did on Saturday!Try keeping to kids who love each other away from each other and not eat or drink after each other! ugh! Sunday I went back to work..by around 5 I'm starting to not feel so well..stomach pain and severe nausea...oh no. So James texts me that Regan isn't feeling well...I said well has she thrown up? "well no I dont think so you will just have to ask her"...MEN. By the time I get home I'm really feeling bad and I'm pretty sure I am coming down with the bug too. I get home and Regan is sitting in the recliner, she tells me she threw up on her bed and has a look on her face..I grab a plastic easter bucket that just happened to be by her and it goes from there. Next up...Mommy!! Oh the misery...yep so I got blessed with the whole thing at once....ragging diarrhea and vomitting...I won't go into details but I'm sure you can imagine...I lost all sense of dignity! So James and Sawyer camped out in the living room floor and Regan and I threw up all night until 3ish. Poor Regan..I would run check on her after I threw up since I knew I had a few minutes..otherwise she was on her own..James had to keep Sawyer away from us! Thankfully he called in sick Monday, there was no way I could take care of kids and myself. He did laundry, took care of Sawyer and kept a check on Regan and I. We would venture out of our bedrooms to test out some water and popsicles and then back to bed! We are on our own today and everyone is feeling better. Back to work, school and Grannies on Wednesday. Hope everyone is better by the weekend we are heading to Foley for our annual Christmas shopping trip! Thank you Daddy you are the best!!! We miss you today! I hope Daddy does not get it...I have sprayed Lysol on every surface and washed everything! The kids are eating today and drinking so I think we are on the road to recovery! Im still not eating much...I think I had the worst case but better me than them! I have to tell on myself...I HATE to throw up..can NOT stand it..so I was whinning while I sat in front of the toilet...and leaning against the tub...My 7 year old on the other hand....was a big girl..I'm so proud! She kept sneaking water because she was sooo thirsty....it would come right back up. She would say" It's ok momma it's just water"  kids....Hopefully my next post will be much more exciting..!
