Beauty Salon

Oh the joys of having a girly girl! Regan has been begging to put rollers in her hair for weeks. I had orginally told her we needed to do it on a weekend night just in case it turned out crazy she wouldn't have to go to school like that! Well I finally caved and rolled it the night before school. Can I just say those little rollers are not easy to use! My fingers hurt when I got done!  Yes she was excited! So she slept in them...we got up the next morning and wow!

This was our finished product! We both laughed as I was pulling rollers out of her hair. Can I say that my cheeks hurt! Every time I would take one down we would both laugh again. By the time I had all of them down it was funny all over again! The poor thing had to get to school and we ran out of time so I shook them out and tried some shine oil to cut down on the frizz and a couple barretts...it looked cute from the front...the back was a whole other story! She was excited so thats all that matters. I told her she looked like Shirley Temple...make me feel old..."whos that momma?" Yes it will happen someday...oh well!

So that was our before school fun. Her Daddy later said..."Did you know it was going to look like that?" Sure babe I knew it was going to look crazy and send my sweet little daughter off to school like that! Men...I was like didn't you hear us laughing? He was like well at least she took it well! I told her she was cute and not to let anyone make fun of her. Luckily she is a friendly social butterfly as her teacher calls her. She is friends with the whole class. They called her Hollywood for the day! Gotta love it!
